A successful touring performer, Manx has brought his breathtaking solo shows across Canada, into the USA, Australia, France and most recently to Singapore and Spain. He has appeared at many prestigious festivals, world-class theatres, concert halls and infamous blues clubs around the globe. Playing the Mohan Veena, lap steel, harmonica and banjo, Manx quickly envelops the audience into what has been dubbed "the Harry Zone" with his warm vocals and the hauntingly beautiful melodies of his original songs. "The live performances have become the most exciting part of the music business for me," Harry says. "And it's not only the playing; it's all the other magic that happens between myself and the audience. My goal has always been to draw the audience as deep as possible into the music." Blend Indian folk melodies with slide guitar blues, add a sprinkle of gospel and some compelling grooves. The result is hard to resist, easy digesting and keeping audiences coming back for more. Harry Manx most recently performed at the Peg Egan PAC with Richie Haven last summer where the audience would not let him leave the stage without 3 standing ovations.
Itıs all in one seemingly impossible package! His spellbinding live show. . .his deliriously virtuosic singing. . .his accomplished guitar style. . . his outrageous, edgy humor . . . and the songwriting! Vance Gilbert burst onto the singer/songwriter scene in the early 90's when the buzz started spreading in the folk clubs of Boston about an ex-jazz singer who was knocking 'em dead at open mikes. The word spread of this Philadelphia-area born and raised performer to New York; Shawn Colvin invited Vance Gilbert to be special guest on her Fat City tour. Gilbert took audiences across the country by storm. "With the voice of an angel, the wit of a devil, and the guitar playing of a god, it was enough to earn him that rarity: an encore for an opener" wrote the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in its review of a show from that tour. Gilbert's three Albums for the Rounder/Philo label - EDGEWISE (1994), FUGITIVES (1995), and the celebrated, arrestingly sparse SHAKING OFF GRAVITY (1998) - are all essential additions to the American singer-songwriter collection.

SUSAN WERNER
Over the course of her colorful career, singer-songwriter Susan Werner has cultivated a reputation as a daring and innovative songwriter with a killer live show. She boldly endeavors to weave old with new to create altogether new genres of music when existing ones do not suit her muse, and she regularly keeps audiences guessing and laughing simultaneously. Most of her work infuses traditional music styles and methods with her unmistakable contemporary worldview, constantly challenging listeners to experience music from a fresh and unexpected perspective. Susan Werner's new release "Classics", with ten pop songs by Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Marvin Gaye, and others, asks no less of her distinguished audience or herself, and leverages all of her many talents, adding 'arranger' to her long list of musical accomplishments.
